THE ROUTE
The natural beauty of the River Lis spring is the focus of this route, allowing visitors to see the water bubble up satisfyingly at some points of the year.
As the trail winds through country and dirt tracks in the valley between the Maunça and Senhora do Monte hill ranges, the scenery alternates between scrubland and forest areas.
At its highest point, the route provides a view over the city of Leiria and even over the Berlengas islands on clear days.
