History

Held in Leiria since 2014, this event evolved from the Leiria Classic Vehicle Show. The acceptance and participation of the people of Leiria and the region has consistently exceeded expectations, evidenced by the increasing number of classic cars on display and the growing number of spectators and visitors.

The passion of the people of Leiria for classic cars led to the event’s expansion. In 2015, it adopted the name “Leiria on Wheels,” broadening its scope of exhibits, themes, and activities.

The sporting aspect has gained special prominence, but the diverse realms of the automotive sector have not been neglected. Thus, with awareness of the industry’s nuances, there has always been a focus on including all types of wheeled vehicles, whether 2 or 4, as well as the specificities inherent to this industry.
