Born in Leiria, David Fonseca is known for his showmanship and one-of-a-kind performances, where you never know exactly what might happen next!

This year, he’s bringing something to the stage that he has long wanted to perform: “Closer”, where cinema and images meet his music in a unique spectacle that aims to take the public on an intimate journey through his peculiar perspective.

A unique opportunity to discover many of the secret paths the artist explores in his compositions and through his own eyes, an interactive film is accompanied by his real-time, live performance.

According to David Fonseca, “there is an immensely personal side to this approach, but perhaps that is the magic of playing live, of revealing myself in a way I rarely have the opportunity to do so. It will be a spectacle balancing precariously on a tightrope between images and sounds, as real and fragile as life, but bigger, louder and, if all goes to plan, sprinkled with confetti!”
