Leiria on Wheels

During this event, one of Leiria’s most incredible, two- and four-wheeled vehicles arrive in the city for a weekend full of excitement and points of interest for all car, motorcycle, and bicycle enthusiasts.

Conferences, commercial space, exhibitions with the presence of national and international drivers, competitions, and parades are part of the program of this event, which is already a national reference and delights car, motorcycle, and motorsport lovers.

History

Taking place in Leiria since 2014, this event evolved from the Leiria Classic Vehicle Show. The acceptance and participation of Leiria residents and the region has, year after year, always exceeded expectations, through the growing number of classic cars on display and spectators and visitors.

The passion of Leiria residents for classic cars led to the event being taken to a new level, and therefore, in 2015, it adopted the name Leiria Sobre Rodas (Leiria on Wheels), expanding its scope of exhibitions, themes, and activities.

The sporting component gained special prominence, but the diversity of universes that characterize the automotive sector was not neglected, and therefore, aware of the challenges, there has always been a concern to include all types of wheeled vehicles, whether 2 or 4, as well as the particularities inherent to this industry.
