Pieces molded with talent and great passion.
For many years, the geological richness of Bajouca, with its outcrop of light and very fine clay, led the local people to make pottery their livelihood.
Today, this ancestral art is maintained, with clay and water as the only ingredients, molded using a wheel, a piece of cane, and the skillful and sensitive hands of the region’s potters.
The finishes of Bajouca Pottery can be simple, highlighting the natural color of the clay, or take on a colorful decoration, with baths of green and yellow.
