Located in the centre of Leiria, next to the Sant’ana market, the Church of the Holy Spirit is the only church in the city built facing the River Lis.

Rebuilt in the eighteenth century, where an old medieval Hermitage once stood, this simple church has a baroque facade with no remarkable artistic elements, a single nave and three altars.
