The Creative City of Music Museum is a privileged space geared towards presenting and enhancing cultural projects and hosting art programmes and residencies as a UNESCO Creative Cities Network member.

In addition to an artistic space within the city, this museum is also the choice location within which to devise cultural strategies with cultural agents, business and economic sectors and higher education institutions.

The building, located at the heart of the city’s historic centre, was designed by architect Gonçalo Byrne to frame Leiria Castle in its mirrored facade, reflecting it in all its grandeur.
