THE MARKET
Designed in 1921 and completed in 1931, for 50 years the Sant’ana market remained one of the main meeting points in central Leiria.
Designed by architect Ernesto Korrodi, it was built to house the municipal market.
Having undergone restoration works in 2002, nowadays it takes on the role of an intergenerational space and the stage of numerous festivals, events and exhibitions.
