The walls around the city of Leiria tell stories.

This is a public art event organised by the Riscas Vadias Association in partnership with the Leiria City Council, curated by Ricardo Romero of the Matilha project.

More than a tourist event, the Leiria, the walls tell a story: PUBLIC ART project arises from the undeniable prevalence of public urban art in the city and the inventive and inclusive nature of art and culture in building the future/hope within any society.

And Leiria is the perfect stage, seeking to become its own “art gallery”, therefore creating a new dimension to artistic/cultural tourism.

Join our artists in paying tribute to Leiria’s historical and intangible heritage and to local figures who have left their mark on the municipality.
