THE ROUTE
This route takes you down historic trails through in the Lapedo Valley, to Abrigo do Lagar Velho, and to see the “Lapedo child” – the skeleton of a child buried here about 29 thousand years ago.
Explore the ups and downs of limestone slopes, watercourses and Mediterranean forests on a very dynamic trail along a mixture of dirt tracks and paved roads.
Discover the Lapedo Valley, where cultural heritage meets natural beauty.
