The Leiria Experience Lab is a programme that invites entrepreneurs, start-ups and tourism professionals to create and test innovative, sustainable tourism experiences that reflect the region’s identity.
Here, ideas don’t stay on paper. They are developed and put into practice, with a focus on creating new tourism offerings that showcase Leiria in unique ways.
You can bring together different fields, from culture and nature to technology and gastronomy, always with one clear goal: to create experiences with real potential.
Proposals can explore different aspects of the region:
Historical heritage — new ways to interpret Leiria Castle and the Historic Centre Nature and sustainability — experiences in the Leiria Pine Forest, Ervedeira Lagoon and along the banks of the River Lis Arts and creativity — projects connected to Leiria’s designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Music Prehistory and industry — experiences in the Lapedo Valley and industrial tourism
