Rockin’1000 issues a challenge to Leiria residents
In addition to attending the event, Leiria residents have the opportunity to participate actively, either as volunteers or by hosting a musician in their home. Volunteers must be over 18 years old, speak English, and preferably know Leiria well. Volunteers will receive a backstage access pass and will be able to closely follow the musicians. Those who choose to host a musician in their home in the days leading up to the event must provide accommodation and breakfast, as well as ensure transportation to the stadium (within a 30-minute radius). In return, families receive three free tickets to the event.
Applications for both initiatives must be submitted by September 7 through the Leiria Local Volunteer Bank or via the form available on the City Council’s website. It’s a way to experience Rockin’1000 in a unique way, contributing to the success of an event that promises to make history in the city.
