DUE TO THE RESTRICTIONS IMPLEMENTED AS PART OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ALL CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT IS CANCELLED.

The magic of Christmas is back to Leiria.

From November 26th to January 6th 2022, we will unwrap an extraordinary program of animation for all ages, but very specially for the youngest.

Illumination of the main streets and avenues, animation, shows and entertainment for all those who live in Leiria and visit us every year in this season are only some of the gifts we have in an event that, besides the experience of the Christmas spirit, has the objective of attracting visitors and potentiate the local commerce of Leiria.

From the program, there are two moments not to be missed: the lighting inauguration on November 26th, at 7:00 pm, and Santa Claus’ arrival, on the following day, at 5:00 pm.

Taking place in the heart of the city of Leiria, the main poles of attraction will be the Recreio dos Duendes with the inclusion of the ice rink, in Largo Papa Paulo VI; the Mercado de Sant’Ana that will become the stage for the event with a program enriched with theater and musical shows; the Rodrigues Lobo Square with the Santa Claus House; the Goa, Damão and Diu Square with the carousel and street food; the central figure of the Christmas illumination, the Leiria Castle, with entertainment and amusements for the little ones; and the Luís de Camões Garden with the Solidarity Garden and the novelty of the Rail Train.
