The Black Mamba is currently one of the most energetic, talented, exciting and passionate Portuguese bands performing live.

The band was formed in May 2010, when Pedro Tatanka and Miguel Casais decided to get together to explore the universe of blues, soul and funk, adapting it to their natural habitat.

Ten years and three albums later, The Black Mamba has played the biggest venues and events in Portugal and taken their “poison” to Spain, Brazil, USA and UK.

“It Ain’t You”, “Wonder Why”, “Believe” and “Still I Am Alive” are just some of their best-known hits that continue to amaze audiences with each stage appearance.

In 2021, they embraced a new challenge by representing Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song “Love is on my Side”.

The Black Mamba come to Leiria through ‘Montepio às vezes o amor’, a party of music and emotions that will spread love all over the country, where beloved names of Portuguese music make passion the motto for romantic and warm nights.
