Welcome to PR5 Pilgrim’s Route, our most blessed route!

Passing through the center of Cortes and ending in Fátima, this route is a mix of paved road, dirt and forest, with highlights including the João Soares House-Museum, Nossa Senhora da Memória Chapel and Lagoa do Boi.

The Pilgrim’s Route starts at 8:30am, next to the Cortes Health Extension/Lis Pavilion, and all technical information is available on the route’s page.

To join us, you should fill out the registration form available on the Leiria European City of Sport website, because the number of participants is limited.

To avoid crowds, we will not be providing supplies for the moment, so we recommend that you equip yourself with a bottle of water and light food, such as an apple.

Departure for the trail will be in groups, which will be organized in order of arrival.

If you want return transportation, buy one of the 250 seats available at the José Lúcio da Silva Theatre website for only €2.

Follow our recommendations and the indications given on site and your route will be done in perfect safety.
