Pedro Patê is a boy bored by his unusual luck: the son of two opera singers, he himself lives inside an opera that never ends, with the background music of an orchestra that guides his every gesture.
Bored with this condition, and tired of listening to arias, cavatinas, intermezzos, and the like (imagine what it’s like to be accompanied by an orchestra when you simply want to read a comic book, take a bath, or pee), or being dragged into epic adventures or intrigues and pranks by his father, Bellini Bel Canto (a former barber in Seville), and his mother, Faustina Balão, a real baroque diva (not to be confused with “baroque diva”, she gets very angry! ), Pedro Patê dreams of becoming an illusionist and discovering the trick that will steal the singing from his family’s mouths with just a snap of his fingers!
Until one day, Faustina Balão’s pet cat, Don Giovanni al Latte, mysteriously disappears.
Precisely on the day when Bellini Bel Canto and Faustina Balão celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.
After all, in opera there are no limits to the unforeseen!
“O Anel do Unicórnio” takes the stage at 4pm.
