“Mr. Abelho Freak Show” arose from the artist’s need to understand laughter in its fullness, in this case, associated with fear.
Starting from a clownesque thought, he added the obscure feeling of the human mind, where morality and lack of emotional control merge with the ingenuity of the Clown himself.
In this way, the audience is led to experience fear and joy, in abrupt and extreme changes, so that they can rise to a level of self-knowledge about all the uncontrollable and animalistic aspects of the human being, personified in a Dark Clown, who, in a gloomy environment, transports the audience on a sensory journey to the ends of the mind.
“Mr. Abelho Freak Show” takes the stage at 9:30pm.
