It has been one of the most celebrated comebacks in Portuguese music.
Lena d’Água’s new album, “Desalmadamente”, unanimously applauded by the critics, now shows that it is being equally well-received by fans, having been considered Album of the Year 2019 by Blitz magazine and Antena 3.
As a result of the excellent acceptance that the new album and show have had with the critics and the public, Lena d’Água has just been nominated as a finalist for the Prémios Play (Portuguese music awards), in the categories of Best Female Artist and Best Music Video.
In her concerts, Lena d’Água will perform some of the main themes of her repertoire, from the 1980’s to the present day.
“Sempre que o amor me quiser”, “Demagogia”, “Grande Festa”, and “Hipocampo” are some of the obligatory themes on stage.
For this record, Lena d’Água has joined a series of new collaborators in this renewed phase of her career.
All lyrics and music were written by Pedro da Silva Martins (Deolinda, Ana Moura, António Zambujo, Cristina Branco, Sérgio Godinho), and the arrangements are by João Correia, António Vasconcelos Dias, Sérgio Nascimento, Mariana Ricardo, Francisca Cortesão, and Benjamim.
