Catraia’s sound is deeply original and inspired by the most diverse aspects of Portuguese popular music.

They have performed in several festivals and auditoriums throughout the country, and several times in the Spanish Folk and World Music circuit.

In 2020, they were invited by Manuel Moura dos Santos as a Mystery Guest, in the program “A Batalha dos Jurados” on RTP1, with a warm reception from the public.

In 2021, they were always at the forefront of culture, with concerts, workshops, creative sessions and renowned partnerships.

Now, Catraia are back, announcing a new album, matured during the last months in studio.

New songs join others already known in this renewed show, in their hometown and on a stage that is their home. The family, that is the public.

A festive and joyful show, full of rich harmonies and jagged melodies, rooted in tradition, but modern in its expression.
